Would you like to offer the Mass for a particular intention?
Following the traditional practice of the Church (Canon Law, para. 946), the Archdiocese of Edmonton encourages the faithful to have Masses celebrated for their particular needs and intentions (Archdiocesan Policy, no. 411). Any individual may ask the parish priest to offer a Mass for a specific intention. For example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person such as on a birthday or an anniversary, or, as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died. If you wish that the parish priest offers a Mass for a specific intention, please speak to him before or after Mass
